The Release

Synopsis

A young queer writer, on the verge of having her first novel released by a mainstream French publisher, confronts the literary scene in Paris and fears her work will be misread and expected to “represent” Tunisian society for readers from outside the Arab world in this intimate time capsule directed by her close friends.
