Synopsis

Thirty years after a young Bunun tribeswoman named Beauty vanished from her hometown, she returns—worn by two failed marriages—only to die at the foot of Yushan. Her two childhood sweethearts’ risk everything: they swap her body with a pig carcass, and under cover of night, secretly carry her up the sacred peak, to bury her in the mountain where she always longed to — finally confronting the long silence of their people’s suffering.
