Synopsis

Following the 1991 Paris Peace Agreements that ended Cambodia’s civil war after the Khmer Rouge genocide, We Forgive but We Don’t Forget asks what comes after peace is signed. The film follows monks, survivors, artists, educators, and community leaders whose quiet, everyday acts of remembrance, resilience, and reconciliation sustain peace beyond the headlines.
