Synopsis

Recounts Sen’s untold American Dream story, from his family’s humble origins in Cuba to the gangland streets of South Central L.A. and hip-hop superstardom—how they escaped Cuba’s Communist Revolution only to survive a new nightmare when their adopted home of South L.A. was overrun by gang violence in the 1980s, and the extraordinary sequence of events that led to Cypress Hill.
