Synopsis

In the arid Canary Islands of the 15th century, Fátima is enslaved by a decadent marquis who controls the island’s only source of fresh water. When rebellion erupts and the well runs dry, she ventures into the barren landscape in search of water — and a chance of survival for the entire community.
