Synopsis

In 1995, China was pushing forward through a wave of reform, striving toward the new century. In a state-owned machinery factory in the northwest, workers were troubled by the sudden wave of layoffs. To ease tensions, the factory’s office director invited a qigong master from Guangzhou to hold a grand event titled “Receiving Cosmic Energy.”
