Synopsis

1940, Switzerland: the last civilian execution in the country’s history. The man condemned to die was a triple murderer. Almost no one called for mercy. And yet, one voice did. The widow of his final victim chose to plead for his life. What inner strength does it take to forgive the man who destroyed your family? And what does such an act reveal – not only about guilt and justice, but about the limits of compassion?
