Synopsis

Shamal is a film about the fixed-gear cycling community in Bishkek. In a city not designed for cyclists, they create their own rules, routes, and style. Through personal stories, the film immerses the viewer in a subculture where a track bike is more than just a means of transportation — it is a way of life and a way of expressing oneself.
