Synopsis

Cortisol is a hormone that helps the body mobilize energy in an emergency. Unfortunately, a number of factors (from stress, excessive exercise, fasting to coffee) keep cortisol levels consistently high. Chronic high cortisol levels are exhausting and dangerous.
