Biography

Tania Poppe is a Flemish actress. In 1993 she graduated from the Studio Herman Teirlinck. In 2002 she obtained a master's degree in theater studies. In 2005 the aggregate pedagogy in drama. She was active in theater productions by Theater Antigone, Theater Zuidpool, De Appel The Hague, the KVS, Toneelgroep Ceremonia and De Werf Bruges. In 2009 she founded the reading theater De LeesBeesten together with Ann Ceurvels. The two of them, supplemented by Ianka Fleerackers, brought Moi, Non, Plus, an erotic reading theater in 2013. In 1993 she had a role in Erik Van Looy's debut feature film, Ad Fundum, where she played the tough Lisa, the girlfriend of praeses Guy Bogaerts, played by Tom Van Bauwel. Two years later she was cast as Suzanne D'Hert in the television series Ons Geluk. Two years later she was Nicole in the series Kongo. In addition, she had guest roles in the feature films Kaas and Gooische Vrouwen, and in the television series Het Park, Windkracht 10, Stille Waters, Recht op Recht, Sedes & Belli, Dennis, The Wet volgens Milo, Kinderen van Dewindt, Zone Stad, Aspe and Witse .
