Biography

Igor Aleynikov was born in Grozny, lived and worked in Moscow, died together with his wife Vera in a plane crash near Mezhdurechensk. The ideologist of the creation and leader of the movement "parallel cinema", which gave a socio-cultural niche to independent filmmakers. Popularizer of the movement. The creator of the "parallel cinema" film festival is CINE FANTOM. The editor-in-chief of the "Samizdat" magazine about cinema is CINE FANTOM. Author and director of more than 30 films.
