Biography

Núria Frigola Torrent is a director, producer, and screenwriter. Her work explores identity, memory, and diversity, themes that have shaped her career as a filmmaker and audiovisual communicator. With over twenty years of experience designing campaigns and communication strategies for organizations such as Amnesty International, UN agencies, WWF, and the Red Cross, she has integrated social impact with filmmaking, developing inclusive narratives in collaboration with diverse communities. As a director, her documentary "The Song of the Butterflies" won the Best Ibero-American Documentary award at the Guadalajara International Film Festival and has been screened internationally. She has also produced projects such as "Daughter of the Lake", "Our Amazon", "Purus-Manu", and "Being Hamlet", in addition to participating in the Quipu Project as an impact producer and starring in the film "The Ferns". She holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication, master's degrees in Human Development and Screenwriting, and works between Catalonia and Peru.
