Biography

Siniša Cvetić (Belgrade, 1994 ) is a Serbian film director. He studied film and TV directing at Belgrade's Faculty of Dramatic Arts. During his studies, he directed several short fiction and documentary films (Compromise, Dinosaur, Mute Howl, Execution). At the 44th International Film Festival in Moscow, his film The Beheading of St. John the Baptist (2022) won him the audience awards for best film and best director. At the Sombor Film Festival, the film won the Boer award for best film in the Selection of Films by Young Authors category. He makes all his films in collaboration with his longtime friend and screenwriter David Jakovljević.
