Matheus Brasileiro Aguiar, known as Matuê, is a Brazilian rapper and singer born in Fortaleza, Brazil. Raised partly in Oakland, California, he brought the American trap sound back to Brazil. He broke records on Spotify and founded the record label 30PRAUM, transforming the country's urban music scene.Matuê, born on October 11, 1993, is the biggest name in Brazilian trap. After living in California as a child, he returned to Brazil fluent in English and deeply connected to hip-hop culture. He shifted from reggae to trap, exploding onto the national scene in 2017 with the hit "Anos Luz".His 2020 debut album, Máquina do Tempo, set all-time records for a hip-hop debut on Spotify Brasil. As the creative director and founder of 30PRAUM, he manages top artists like Teto and WIU.
