Biography

Tristen Vernon Pon (born July 15, 2001) is an Asian American film director, screenwriter, producer, and actor. Born in San Francisco, California, he graduated from Emerson College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Media Arts. Tristen is best known for co-writing and directing A Better Man (2023) alongside Dellin Zhang. He also served as the producer, director of photography, and co-director for the visual EP by Chase Sullivan For What’s Worse (2024). In addition, he is one of the producers for the upcoming trans coming-of-age short film Attaboy. Currently based in Los Angeles, Tristen is passionate about filmmaking and acting, continuously seeking to tell unique and diverse stories that foster a sense of community among talented individuals.
