Biography

Filmmaker, critic, researcher, and cinema teacher. He began his filmmaking career as an amateur filmmaker with his friends in Isfahan. He soon joined the Cinema-ye Azad and founded the Cinema-ye Azad Isfahan in 1971 and continued his activities as a filmmaker and head of this office. After the Islamic Revolution, in addition to filmmaking, he devoted a large part of his time to researching the history of Iranian cinema and teaching cinema.
