Giorgio Stegani was born on October 13, 1928, in Milan, Italy. He was a versatile filmmaker, working as a writer, director, and second unit director. He wrote the script for Un Dollaro bucato (1965) and directed and wrote Adiós gringo (1965), both starring Giuliano Gemma. He also co-wrote Mille dollari sul nero (1966).
